RECYCLING

Mr Recycle, an independent recyclable collection service, will collect recyclable materials at our school on Wednesdays at 08:15 at the Church Street gate.

This company will collect:

• Glass, plastics, metal, paper, polystyrene and flattened cardboard.

• Please place paper products in a separate bag within the larger bag/s.

• Please wash food containers otherwise our sorting yard becomes very smelly.

• You are welcome to send your cooking and motor oils in sturdy collection containers.

• E-waste as well as old toys will be collected at the same time.

• Please put everything in bags. They want no loose materials on the collection vehicles.

Mr Recycle also collects from homes on the day BEFORE the traditional waste collection day.

Avoid buying over packaged or disposable items

Clean a product and then make use of it again for the purpose it was used the first time

Recycle

Use old products
to make new ones

Reuse waste, or get heat from the material by burning it or converting it to a fuel like coal, oil or gas.

TOEBROODJIE-PROJEK:

Ons wil opreg dankie sê aan die leerders wat so getrou die ekstra toebroodjie op ‘n Woensdag bring. Ons voorsien ook daagliks hier by die skool broodjies aan kinders wat behoeftig is. U is welkom om ‘n skenking te maak bv.

marmite/smeerkaas/grondboontjiebotter/brood/margarine.

OU/GEBRUIKTE TEKKIES:

Ons wil graag minderbevoorregte kinders in Lwandle help. Indien u tekkies (enige grootte) het om te skenk, stuur na ontvangs asb. Ons waardeer. Dankie vir diegene wat reeds tekkies gestuur het.

“WISKUNDE IS PRET” :

Help ons asseblief! Ons soek dringend na bg. boeke. Indien u dit nie meer gebruik nie, skenk asb. aan die skool. Ons wil graag Hopefield Laer- / Hoërskool help in hierdie verband.
